Selicense.dat
Some forums claim deleting selicense.dat resets a software trial. This worked in the early 2000s. Today, modern apps store additional validation data in the Windows Registry (or macOS Keychain) and online. Deleting just the .dat file will simply trigger a "corrupted license" error.
