Bayview is a fictional, sprawling city divided into five distinct districts (e.g., Coal Harbor, City Core, Jackson Heights). The PC version benefits from a higher LOD (Level of Detail) at distance, allowing players to spot shortcuts and hidden event markers more easily than on consoles. Navigation is done via a GPS voice system (voiced by actor ), which was a novel feature at the time.
