Disable Adobe Acrocef Page
This prevents the application from finding and launching the process. Close all Adobe applications and use Task Manager to end any remaining AcroCEF.exe Navigate to the installation folder: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat DC\Acrobat\AcroCEF\ (or similar path for Reader). AcroCEF.exe and rename it to something like AcroCEF.exe.old

Do this only if you understand Windows file permissions. If you rename the wrong file, Acrobat may crash. This prevents the application from finding and launching
