KONAMI moved to Unreal Engine for eFootball. The FTEX format in Unreal is (UE4/UE5 uses .uasset or custom compression). However, there is an eFootball Ftex Tool now. That said, for PES 2021, sFTeX will remain relevant for at least another 3-5 years because the community refuses to abandon the game.
