(The Red Book) is a fascinating piece of comic history. First published by (and later Novedades Editores ) in the late 1960s and 1970s, it became one of Mexico's most iconic "pocket" comics.

However, the term "El Libro Rojo" is most affectionately associated with the distinctive hardcover editions of (The Cowboy Book) and the early anthology collections of "Superman" and "Batman" which often featured prominent red branding on their spines and covers.
