The Foison C24 is a legacy device. It was designed during the era of Windows XP and Windows 7, when 32-bit operating systems were the norm. Today, most PCs run 64-bit versions of Windows. The key differences are:
uses a USB interface that functions as a virtual COM port. On 64-bit versions of Windows (10, 11, etc.), the system often fails to recognize the device automatically, labeling it as an "Unknown Device" or "USB Serial Port" with a yellow exclamation mark in the Device Manager.
Ensure the COM port number in your software matches the one in Device Manager. If the port is higher than COM4, some older software may fail to "see" it.
