In the early 2000s, Paul began posting his course handouts online for his students at Lamar. He taught three main courses: Algebra/Trig review, Calculus I, Calculus II, and Calculus III. He noticed that his students were losing points not because they didn't understand integration, but because they had forgotten how to factor a polynomial or manipulate a trig identity.
