A: Not really. The clinical guidelines have changed significantly since NBME 12 was released. Focus on NBME 10, 11, 12 (if available officially), 13, and 14. If NBME 12 is not on the official website, skip it.

The NBME is extremely protective of its intellectual property. The questions, images, and clinical vignettes are copyrighted. Distributing or downloading a PDF of a paid NBME exam constitutes copyright infringement. The NBME has been known to issue Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) takedown notices to websites hosting these files and has even pursued legal action against commercial answer key creators.
