A heavy underbase makes a shirt feel like cardboard. In Easy Art 2, go to Separation Settings > Underbase > Texture Fill . Set it to 60% halftone instead of 100% solid. This "waffles" the underbase. The top colors will cover the 60% dots, but the shirt will breathe better, resulting in a "soft hand" feel.
