Press and hold the Power button until the screen goes dark. If the phone is frozen, remove the battery (since the LAVA Iris 51 typically has a removable back cover), wait 10 seconds, and reinsert it. Do not turn it on yet. Once in recovery mode, the touchscreen will not work
