FoxPro 2.6 for DOS is a 16-bit application. When Microsoft developed Windows 7, 8, 10, and 11, they moved entirely to 64-bit architecture. While 64-bit Windows can run 32-bit programs effortlessly, it completely dropped the support layer (NTVDM - NT Virtual DOS Machine) required to run 16-bit DOS applications.
