Based on the combination of features above, the K-TIRADS calculator automatically places the nodule into one of the following five categories: K-TIRADS Category Description Estimated Malignancy Risk Normal thyroid gland (no nodules detected) K-TIRADS 2 Benign nodule (e.g., pure cysts, spongiform nodules) K-TIRADS 3

Solid hypoechoic nodules without suspicious features, OR nodules with any single suspicious feature. K-TIRADS 5 High Suspicion

Identify if the nodule is markedly hypoechoic, hypoechoic, or iso/hyperechoic.
