Incubus Jaskier
Jaskier is an incubus who has spent decades following a Witcher because Geralt’s unique, muted emotions are the only thing that don't overwhelm him.
Here, Jaskier is fully aware of his nature and hates it. He feeds on lust or life force, but he tries to survive on "scraps"—the ambient desire of a tavern crowd—rather than draining anyone fully. He sings to create a low-level hum of attraction, enough to sustain him without killing. This Jaskier is wracked with guilt. His love for Geralt is complicated because the Witcher’s mutated body might be poisonous to a demon, or conversely, Geralt’s suppressed emotions are the most delicious meal he’s ever smelled. incubus jaskier
