In 2001, the show faced its biggest crisis. A famous case known as "La Loli" sparked a national debate. A caller told a story of a teenager who had a sexual relationship with her stepfather. While the story was presented as a confession, the authorities claimed it was a real crime that had not been reported. Rumpy was accused of being an accessory to the crime for not reporting the caller to the police. The legal battle lasted for years.
