Legend -2015- High Quality

The keyword "Legend -2015-" rightly points to a film that understands the nature of myth-making. The real Kray twins were small-time criminals amplified by a media hungry for celebrities. But in Legend (2015) , Brian Helgeland and Tom Hardy turn them into modern-day Greek tragedies: brothers bound by blood, destroyed by the very madness that made them famous.

However, the film’s greatest strength is also its central challenge. By leaning heavily into the "myth" of the Krays, Legend occasionally prioritizes style and dark humor over a deeper analysis of the trauma they inflicted on their community. It treats the brothers as folk heroes of a bygone era, focusing on their charismatic bond rather than the cold mechanics of their racketeering.

The "walking revolution." Ronnie is portrayed as an openly gay, paranoid schizophrenic who finds a terrifying clarity in violence. Hardy gives him a heavy, lumbering gait and a voice that sounds like gravel in a blender.
