The Saturn’s CD-Rs are rotting. The reflective layer on many 1990s Saturn discs is failing (a phenomenon called "disc rot"). Converting your physical collection to CHD ensures these games survive for future generations. CHD’s inclusion of error-correcting data means a properly dumped CHD is more stable than the original plastic disc.
