The series centers on the unlikely partnership between Neal Caffrey (Matt Bomer), a world-class con artist and forger, and Peter Burke (Tim DeKay), the diligent FBI agent who finally caught him. When Neal escapes from a maximum-security prison just months before his release to find his missing girlfriend, Kate, Peter captures him once again. However, instead of returning to a cell, Neal proposes a deal: he will use his criminal expertise to help the FBI catch other elusive white-collar criminals in exchange for his freedom.
