Corazon Indomable is a remake of the 1994 telenovela Marimar , which famously starred Thalía. Produced by Nathalie Lartilleux for Televisa, the 2013 version stars Ana Brenda Contreras and Daniel Arenas. It tells the story of Maricruz Olivares, a poor, uneducated young woman who lives with her grandfather on a ranch. She is looked down upon by the wealthy Narváez family, who own the neighboring land.
