LUBRIZOL® 7067C is a high-performance, solid polymer viscosity modifier (VM) designed primarily for use in engine oils and diverse lubricant formulations. It is engineered to provide a balance of high thickening efficiency and stay-in-grade shear stability across a wide range of SAE viscosity grades. Key Product Features High Thickening Efficiency
The concentration of the additive depends on the desired performance level of the final product.
In industrial settings (conveyors, wind turbines, heavy machinery), gearboxes run for thousands of hours. Lubrizol 7067C provides the long-term shear stability required to prevent viscosity drop-off, ensuring that the oil film does not collapse under heavy loads.
While technically possible, Lubrizol 7067C is a non-dispersant OCP. Engine oils require dispersant OCPs (like Lubrizol 7077 or similar) to suspend soot. Using 7067C in a diesel engine will lead to sludge formation.
