Explicit simulations require materials that account for high strain rates and permanent failure. Double-click . Click Engineering Data Sources at the top. Select the Explicit Materials library.
Symptoms: Elements inside out. Cause: Too much deformation for the mesh. Fix: Add Erosion control. Right-click Solution > Insert > Erosion Criteria . Set to fail elements when Maximum Equivalent Plastic Strain > 1.5 .
