In the original English version, Sid is voiced by John Leguizamo with a distinctive, high-pitched lisp. In Indonesia, voice actor took on the role. Chandra did not simply copy Leguizamo; he reinvented Sid. He gave Sid a nasal, whiny, yet incredibly endearing tone that made every complaint hilarious. His delivery of lines like "Aku lapar!" (I’m hungry!) or "Kenapa aku selalu yang kena?" (Why am I always the one who gets hurt?) became catchphrases for Indonesian kids growing up in the 2000s.
