Auction records indicate that a single leaf from an 11th-century Fe Vereus Psalter sold for $4,200 in 2021. The scribal abbreviation for et (and) in this script is unique. Instead of the standard Tironian note or the Roman ampersand, Fe Vereus uses a three-stroke symbol resembling a stacked '7' and a 'c'. It is often called the "Vereus knot."
