Inflammation and oxidative stress are two interrelated pathological processes that contribute to the development of various chronic diseases. In this study, we investigated the anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties of a novel compound, WAAA-323. Our results showed that WAAA-323 exhibited potent anti-inflammatory effects by inhibiting the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines, such as TNF-α and IL-1β, in lipopolysaccharide-stimulated RAW 264.7 macrophages. Additionally, WAAA-323 demonstrated significant antioxidant activity by scavenging free radicals and reducing oxidative stress in H2O2-treated cells. Mechanistic studies revealed that WAAA-323 exerted its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects by modulating the NF-κB and Nrf2 signaling pathways, respectively.
