The year was a pivotal moment for this conference. Coming out of the COVID-19 pandemic, many events struggled with hybrid formats or saw dwindling attendance. HKBoot 2022 , however, managed to not only survive but thrive, offering a blend of in-person intensity in Hong Kong and seamless virtual streaming for international researchers.
