Sound propagation was recalibrated so that a gunshot echoes for blocks, but a whisper is localized. Most famously, the build perfected the fog and erosion systems; as weeks pass in-game, vines creep up walls, power fails, water shuts off, and thick, immersive fog can turn a familiar street into a silent, deadly labyrinth.
